Globe Gallery proudly presented Blank Canvas, a bold and immersive street art exhibition that handed over its gallery walls to three celebrated street artists: Mark One87, Toby Heaps, and Cack Handed Kid. In a radical departure from conventional exhibitions, each artist was given full creative control to transform the space, bringing the vibrant, spontaneous energy of street art indoors.
Opening on 14 November, the exhibition invited visitors into a dynamic environment where the gallery itself became the canvas. Rather than showcasing works on traditional supports, the walls were directly painted and reimagined by the artists, blurring the lines between studio practice and public expression.
The title Blank Canvas reflected both the conceptual and literal starting point of the show—an empty space made alive by unrestricted creativity. The result was a powerful expression of individuality, resistance, and contemporary culture, rooted in the ethos of street art.
Signed prints from all three featured artists were available, giving audiences the chance to take home a piece of the experience.
Blank Canvas captured the raw pulse of street culture, offering a rare opportunity to see large-scale, site-specific work by some of the UK’s most exciting urban artists within the walls of Globe Gallery.
