‘We the living’ is an umbrella term for all of our projects which run alongside our exhibition programme. They currently include Blossom Tree, Saku and In Here We Meet.

From inception we have been committed to representing and stimulating diversity of thought, experience and practice in every aspect of our work. Over the past 25 years we have had the pleasure of working with a diverse range of artists from the UK and beyond presenting challenging work alongside a deliberately accessible range of exhibitions and events. A significant thread throughout those years has had a focus on inclusion, inequality and mental health issues.

We are a listening and learning organisation with community interest embedded in our aims, we have the ability as an open space to make a difference to the lives of individuals by enabling all of the above to take place in our new venue with the care and consideration that has always been our driving force.

2020/21 has created a new dynamic and we are ready and willing to take up the challenges that have arisen through this global pandemic. We look forward to being able to share once more, great experiences delivered to you by the artists we work with, the organisations we partner with and the ever-growing community we engage with.
