Following the photographic exhibition ‘Weekend Warriors’ by Eric Murphy we developed a working partnership with representatives from the drug education/advice sector. ‘Hammered’ was developed from this.

Following a drugs incident in June 2002 at Norham High School, which hit national headlines, Globe worked with Waterville, Turning Point, Barnadoes, North Tyneside Drugs Education, Norham High School and Viz to produce a publication dealing with drug issues facing young people. ‘Hammered’ was used in schools as a teaching aid, designed to open up a classroom debate on the use of drugs allowing young people to examine and share their experience with each other in a constructive way.
